Backhoe for a Ford 641

I was told that there are backhoes that can be mounted on a 3-point hitch. The hydraulic pump is driven by the PTO.

I understand that it would for light duty only, but all I need mostly is to dig footers and bury water, gas and sewer lines.

This would be the cats pajamas for me if I could get one mounted on my 641.

Anyone BTDT or knows about this?

i know you are looking for something versatile but unless you are in sand on a beach those things are almost useless if you are looking for a tractor that has a backhoe attachment you should try and find a nice used john deere 410 it is a tractor that is specially set up to run a backhoe and it is a really good machine because it is like i said a tractor with a backhoe setting on a three point.

There was a guy on here selling one in the classifieds a while back. it was a Sherman Powerdigger backhoe for $700. It looked to be in good shape. I was thinking about it but couldn't justify the cost since I already have one for my jubilee. it works great. If you can't find his ad, let me know, I may have his number somewhere since I bought the manual from him. Kurt

This one runs off the PTO, but has a heavy frame running the length of the tractor with weights attached to the front of the tractor for counterbalance.

Located in WI.

This is for sale as a combo tractor/backhoe. I am not interested in the backhoe, only the tractor.
