Through a roundabout way I heard that the Autolite 3076 spark plug was the way to go on a John Deere D. Will these plugs work in our 1930 GP.

there's not but one plug that will work in 2cyl. Deeres ..Autolite 3116

funny that I've got [3] "A" with 3116 in them & they won't even start on on a champion plug...Kent

I think the plugs they are asking about are the 7/8" thread plugs from the older JD tractors rather than the 18MM plugs of the newer styled tractors.

I use autolite 3077s in my 1935 JD-B and they seem to work well. There a tad hotter then the ones your asking about

If theres a better plug I would take suggestions, getting tired of the Champions.

I just took the champions to the auto parts store. They have a book to find the autolite equivalent. This was for my 1936 A. And yes , it starts 10 times easier with the autolites.
