My lawn is invaded with cray fish. Any tips on killing them off or at least making them go someplace else?

When I was a kid, we lived in Tyler for a while. We would take a stick, tie a string to the end, then tie a piece of bacon on the end of the string. The it was down to the creek for crawdad fishin'. Always had a blast. If I had known how good they were to eat, they never would have made it back into the creek. Like the others said, EAT THEM! They're very good.

Wow aleady on the second page... I'm in Oklahoma just east of Tulsa. Looks like traping them might be the best bet. Bet I have 50 mounds in 1/2 acre plot I just leveled and planted.

Why try to get rid of good food? I ate about a pound of them last night for dinner. I get them at the local market. The meat in the tails tastes like lobster. Just boil them for a minute or two and season with a good seafood seasoning. Gralic butter works well too.

Just like little lobsters Eat, Eat and enjoy them sell what can to neighbors. Boil in salt water for best flavor.

You do not have a problem! You do have a resource! Exploit it! Make money $$$!!! It is called Capitalism. Lol. Just jostling ya but, you do have a resource there as the others have said. I wish I had that problem here. Good luck.

I have heard that dumping lime down their holes helps. don't know though. I got the grandson to shoot em with a bb gun and thinned em out a lot. just at dusk they come up near the top of the hole and you can nail em.

I like to get rid of them by throwing them in boiling water and calling my buddies to bring the beer.
