Steven, I am flying in to Dickenson on Wensday. Would you please see to it that the rain comes and it warms up. I am afraid I am going to get drafted to help replant some land that was planted into winter wheat last fall. Told my renter I was glad it was his, not mine. Talk about a grumpy farmer.

Allan, them rear tractor treads don't match! Ya know that's going to make one pull harder than the other and just twist them axles right off! LOL

No rain, no snow, no nothing in SW ND yet... just more wind and cold. I'm not sure I want to go back for the summer if it doesn't rain - tensions get high when there is no income...

Allan, Here at the House, in South Central Texas. Highs in the 80s, We are dryer than Nebraska Sand!, We can't buy a rain here! But My tomatoes have little ones putting on, big as a quarter now. The Yellow Squash had small ones that will be ready in 2 weeks or so.
Spring is here and country wide, But it is only 1/2 in deep. 10 days of 90 + heat and this ol country will start to burn smooth up. What a difference between here and your country. Just wait a little while it will change.
Later,
John A

Here in the middle of Kentucky, it was 82 degrees yesterday and the wife turned on the air conditioning. Birds are chirping, sun's shining, garden is growing, grass to cut, corn is planted. See what you have to look forward to.

Could use some of that here anytime.
Allan, how come you don't have a nice big steel building to put that combine in. Then you could work on more often. Maybe it has something to do with money, huh? Nice tractor pictures. Len

If I had it inside, I'd have no excuse "not" to be workin' on it.

Ya gotta think about these things before ya go and throw up one of those cathedrals. :>)

The tax man would be all smiles if you put one of those big sheds on your property.

Your right. A person has to think about that stuff. If I had a big shop like that (and younger) I could work myself to death. You got a point there.

Yea, here in Sioux Falls we had about 4-5 inches. Further west by Mitchell they had 14 and up north by Brookings and Watertown they had a good 10 inches. As wet as it came down you would think it would stay put but the wind blew last night and this morning the ditches are full and it is drifting up on the roads. I-29 was closed from Brookings to the ND border all day yesterday and last night. I worked up the wife's garden on Wed. and this morning there are foot deep drifts on it.
