I got this model 60 home and drained the gas cleaned the spark plugs and put a coil wire on.After alittle timing I got it running ,but it was still on the truck so I could not try to move it.Anyways went to pull it off the truck and clutch is stuck it moves and snaps over but does not disengage. How do I get at the clutch and what do I look for.Just got this tractor have no manuels and really don't know much about them I'm just getting into these tractors. Can anybody help. Also I used the starter to get the tractor of the truck turned the switch and it took off drove it up to the shed and park it so it moves on its own power. Thanks Blaine

i had problem like this with my 730 diesel.
i had a mechanic friend of mine take it apart turned out to be full of dirt and rust. he took everything apart and cleaned it up also replaced a broken toggle bolt. it works great now.

You wrote a couple of weeks ago about purchasing thee tractors. Your parts, service and operator's manuals should have arrived in the mail by now if you had ordered them when you should have.

The clutch is quite easy to work on. Pop off the cover from the pulley and there it is. Easy to get at and easy to work on. I'm assuming that the 60 is the same a the "A" was.

Hi Blaine ---

The tractor must have been setting a while and the clutch plate is stuck to the flywheel.....

Put the clutch in , to disengage....
Start the tractor and drive it around...the clutch should come loose from the flywheel....no...well try jabbing the breaks.....

After it's loose , hold the breaks and slip the clutch....to clean the surface rust off the flywheel.....

Now clean and oil the joints / check clutch adjustment..... information is in the tractor manual..... .Don
