Finally getting to have my fun with the fuel line. It's all cracked up and leaking gas on the everything. Still think Stihl is #1 provided the fuel line is the problem. How much do these cost to replace? $10-20?

I would rather let them do it. It"s in a very tight spot by the looks of it and it would be a waste of my time not to metion the words that"dbe said during the 15 minutes of fumbling with it. It"s a flex line so it"s most likely special. May as well get the dealer to do it"s when i"m in getting he line. Thanks for the comments

I should have stuck with Stihl. I bought a Huskvarna 345 and it"s either been in for repairs or not starting ever since I bought it. I just got it back because it was flooding and now after making one cut, the chain tightens up so much it won"t turn. Almost like the brake automatically sets itself. I"ve got lots of cutting planned and it sure is frustrating.

Larry,

You might not like my answer but the sprocket nose in the bar is probably full of fine saw dust which causes the nose to lock up.

Sometimes you`ll get lucky and be able to drag the chain backwards over a log and get it to clear enough that you can then free rev the saw until it spits the mung out, other times you`ll have to remove the chain and manually clean the bar groove and sprocket.

The primary cause of this condition is running dull chain and it applies to all makes and models of saw.

Stihl fuel lines are usually about six bucks and change.
