I have thought about buying a 3 point dirt scoop, it holds 9 cubic feet of material. Are these things worth the $330 asking price? Does it work well, does anyone have one or have seen one? It looks like I could do some landscaping with this thing or move driveway gravel. $330 is sure cheaper then a $3000 front end loader.

I used one for years, before I bought a loader. It served me very well.Beats the fire out of a shovel.

Slow going if you"r hauling dirt any distance. Not as versatile as I would like, for loading dirt out of a gravel pit. Dragging or pushing to scrape up dirt isn"t that easy. Due to limited range of movement of 3pt hitch. But better"n a shovel and a bucket! Love it for rock picking on plowed/disked ground. Can back to larger ones and just roll them on. Back over the pile and dump!

I have the bigger one tractor supply sells on a farmall 230 with weights. Other than it can be hard to get full with out spinning. It sure beats the heck out of the alternative, A shovel. Another issue is I cannot raise it above 2 ft which makes loading a trailer or truck with material impossible. I have a couple of 2 wheeled gravelys and I take a gravely with a 2 ft blade and push material into the scoop. That way I can get a full bucket with out tearing up the ground. I would buy it again no problem.

I have an old Sears and Roebuck tumble bug that is the same thing but you drag it around, I have used it a lot around here before I got the newer Kubota with the box scraper.

What do you want for it? I live in Michigan, 100 miles north of Toledo, I would want you to deliver it to me, I dont have a truck.

I grew up using one of these to put dirt around stock tanks for my dad. Using one of these and a 8N Ford. Usually a two or three day job. It worked very well for one yard at a time.

My father in law has one, which he put a hydrulic cylinder in place of the top link, so he can lift it up or down with the 3pt arms and tilt it forward or back with the cylinder. He seems to like it, uses it alot to get under logs them lift them up to skid them out of the woods. jayinNY
