My old 54 chevy flat bed has a problem I can't quite figure out with the brake's. I had the drums turned, new lining installed on the shoes, new wheel cyl's all around, had the master resleeved and installed a new kit. I have power bled the system starting with the wheel further away from master cyl. I have good pedel. next day goes to the floor, but with one pump it is up ok. The only thing I haven't replaced is the power boost assy, which is a seperate unit, but it doesn't seam to leak on the outside. Anybody have any ideas on my problem? Stan

If power booster fails your pedal will be real hard but should not actually go to the floor. You might not believe this until it happens and you stick your finger under the pedal.

Your power booster won't leak to the outside until its full inside. Otherwise take it off and turn it upside down and around with the vacuum ports down will more tham likely dump out brake fluid. Or does it have a plug on the vacuum side, take that out if you can and see what you get.

What you mean is "the booster will never get full on the inside 'cause beyond a certain point, any leaked fluid is sucked into the engine and burned."

If it IS leaking much, the engine exhaust will have an odd smell.
