1995 Caterpillar D5H Series II

Have problem with hydraulics. While operating the dozer, I lost pressure on the lift of the blade but still have pressure to the tilt cylinder. Switched the control valve body assys and still have the same problem. Any and all info will greatly appreciated.

Maybe you popped a piston seal in one of the lift cylinders, and the oil is bypassing. This could cause the lift to stop working.

If you hold the tilt lever hard over, and the lift hard back, will the blade lift when the tilt strokes out?
I suspect it will... If it does then there is a load sense problem in the system somewhere.
I'm not up very well on those systems but my '87 4H has a fairly basic CCLS hydraulic system. If yours is pilot controlled then there's probably a problem somewhere in the pilot circuit.
That's not much help but a couple ideas....
