Check out wheatlandmusic.org. Maybe when you get moved to Minnesota, you can hop on US2 and come on over. 11 acts lined up for this year including The Cherryholmes Family. Kinda the Jerusalem Ridge Bluegrass Festival of the north. Only about 30 miles from my house.

That festival's in Michigan? Dunno if I'll be able to get over there...quite a ways from N. Minnesota.

Aw,it'll be worth it. We went all the way to Lexington Ky,450 miles last summer just to see Alison Kraus. This is 3 whole days. Straight across US2 to the bridge, then south.

Have you checked out the site at minnesotabluegrass.org? Should have a list of member bands and schedules.

Hey, thanks RR!! Tell me again where you live? I'm a big fan of Cherryholmes. Girlfriend loves bluegrass like me, so she'll jump at the chance...just as long as we don't have any hay down at the time : ) Thanks friend!!

Flat out the best is ch14 on XM radio "Bluegrass Junction" My children got me an XM two years ago for Christmas, and for $142 a year I can get around 170 stations 24-7. One of the greatist things about XM is they have Major League Baseball, every team, every game of the regular season. Once I've had XM, I'd never be without again.

I'm gonna hafta vote for Sirius Bluegrass 65 on this one : ) All the DJ's are bluegrass musicians and they talk about their music and play some of it on the radio. They're a lot of fun and they know the music. Although XM does MLB...give me Sirius any day, all day. : D But hey, whatever you listen to, I'm happy to have a bluegrass ally!
