Tahked with a friend today, he listed 'bout half a dozen folks who were visited, like you, by the subject you posted about a couple days ago. Seems he was getting around! Just so you don't feel slighted! Several he listed were long time family friends of the subject. Folks you wouldn't thought would be people that would have been preyed upon. Drugs can sure make folks do things they wouldn't normally consider doing. Mess up your life real fast. Sure feel bad for his family - he's thrown away a great life.

I'll tell ya Ray,this is just plain sad. I talked to a guy yesterday that said he let him in twice without catching on. It doesn't sound like he was hitting the "dregs of society". I just can't imagine what the attraction to that high must be to cause as nice of a guy as he is to do that. He should have put in another 10 years, retired with his wife and lived the good life. I sure always thought he deserved to. He's really going to be missed at the bank. The wife, kids, could all go in and see him. He'd help them out any way he could. Guess maybe that's how it was so easy to let him in. He seemed to trust everybody who walked in to his office,so you had to trust him. This still has a big mix of emotions going for me. It's not like he died young or something. He's still around, but all of a sudden,he's just not the same guy. Tragic. If you can't trust your banker in broad daylight, who can you trust in the dark?

Hey,on another subject, that place with all the dead abandoned animals must have been right down the road from you wasn't it?

Just heard about that one today from a township employee - Yeah, just a mile over, and a couple down. Go by it all the time, when going into Greenville to work. Never noticed anything out of line, but then, it was probably hidden from view from the road. There's lots of places around here that are not being lived in right now, so tend not to notice. Township can only deal with cases of blight - more than that, and it becomes a county jurisdiction. Apparently county not very vigalent either, but then you know about the disarray at animal control.

Also heard from another neighbor, that a common acquaintance of ours was in the slammer for molesting granddaughter, He'd been an upstanding church member, sang in the choir, taught Sunday school, the whole bit. What's this world coming to?

Correction, that was Derby road - Couple miles over, and one down. Don't go by that place often, but familiar with the place. Used to be a busy dairy farm. RP
