I tried them and after two days of slower than dialup I canceled and returned everything. Now I"ll let the credit card company handle it. Has anybody had any dealings with this company and what were the results?

AOL lied to me not once, not twice but four times. Lawyer took care of them, but still get billings. He said you can't stop them from trying. Overcharged again and again. Highly recommended by GM, huh???

Don't know how this credit card thing works there but here in Oz if you give a credit card for automatic deduction, you cannot cancel it, the bank must have a letter from the company. so you put it on the account with an account number then you can go to the bank and cancel . You have control of your money not them.

Had cancelled and they kept taking out for another 2 months.Fortunately they repaid which was unexpected because I had a big barney with them about incompetence, theirs of course.

HughesNet is no better. Poor customer service, slower than dialup, unexplained outages. Very bad.

Did you know that Google and Dishmail are now partners. I have had dishmail for about 5 months now. No problems now. When we signed up for dishmail we were supposed to be getting a $100. rebate paid over a ten monthe period. Havnt seen anything yet. Wife has spent hours on phone listening to elevator music and trying to get this resolved.

What I am threatning to do is deduct the ten dollars they owe us untill we are rembursed the full $100. Then there is intrest and time spent on the telephone calls and mabe could find some other charges that might fit in there somewhere.
