Ford 861 (1957) still working the Sugar Bush.
This is a real fine tractor for work where the operator has to get on and off a lot. It also is small enough to drive between the trees and yet has the power to get through snow.
Fluid in the tires and chains help a lot.

Think Spring!!!!

Now lets see if it all worked!!!

Sounds like fun. As long as I don't have to do it. (:^D

How deep do you drill into the trees??

This MM BF is also a nice tractor for the sugar bush. The tank follows in the tractor tracks. I drive and the kids collect.

Is that a ball hitch on the front of the MM?

Does the tractor do ok in breakup mud and spring snow storms without chains?

The picture looks familiar, would you have put it on a Maple syrup web page?

From the looks of your trees it appears you also have a younger sugar bush. I oftem wish our trees were older (bigger) but the stand was high graded before we bought it.
Here's to a high sugar content for 2008!
