I was installing the rebuilt motor in my A/C M today. Every thing was going good. Fork lift started, found all the right lifting slings, the motor engaged the clutch spline with no trouble. The motor just would not pull up the last 1/4 inch to the bell housing. Started to pull the motor back out, when the fork lift ran out of fuel. I went home for lunch. While eating my lunch I thought about the throw out bearing lube line. Sure enough it had fallen down between the two pieces, and was keeping the motor from pulling up. After I removed the line it pulled right up. I ruined a real good line. Time to go to bed. Stan

Funny you should ask. All 54 of my Ex-wives always asked "What stupid thing did you do today" as they picked up their suitcases and walked out the door. Haven't had that problem with my 55th yet. Just joking, never been married.

I slept all day. Was tired. And now its midnight and I'm wide awake and no wife to wake up and say, "Honeybun, sweetie pie, I'm not sleepy, are you". Grin.

Mark

Went to a gun show this morning. Found the single action Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 Mag I've always wanted at a price I couldn't resist. I also bought a hunting knife at a different table.

On the way home, I had to wait for a long train at a crossing. At this point, the revolver still had the wire tie around the hammer and trigger to disable it. So--I took the knife out of its sheath and cut the wire tie. In the process, I stabbed myself in the thumb with the point of the knife.

It's still bleeding like the proverbial stuck hog, and it's been two hours ago.

I answered the phone at 8:15 am. Big mistake. It was the township assessor wanting to know if I went to the townhall meeting that the State Representative put on. Sounds like a preview of coming attractions for Monday mornings Board of Review. GREAT,sure made my day!

Haven't done it yet, but will in a few minutes.... heading to an all-day consignment auction... and it's -12 this morning. I'm either addicted or completely insane, I guess.

Was feeding the hogs last night. They figured how to force the barn doors open. In response to that, and not being able to find any fence wire, I put a panel in front of the barn door. I leave the bucket of slop (only 4 hogs) in the barn and climb over the panel. Well, you guessed it. As I stepped over to get the bucket the biggest hog, about 190 lbs, came up behind me. My foot came down on his back as he came forward to nip my calf. To my credit I didn't hit him with the slop bucket, but we did have quite a game of tag for a second or 2. Still not sure who won....

How long have you been married? It took a few years but I've learned NOT to wake the wife, for ANY reason. She's MUCH quieter while sleeping!

dog-gone: almost the same deal! Had an armload of hay (both hands full) and Squirt-O came over to munch and stepped on my foot. Arms full, so I head butted him- too hard. DAmn near knocked myself unconscious, barely fazed him.
Hurt toes AND head.
