I was at a auction and did to much waving as usual. I ended up with about a hundred oil filters. Most are Atlas, and I have no idea what they will fit. Perhaps someone can get me on the right track. The Googley thing was a disaster as E-bay keeps jumping in, as well as a bunch of search engines.

Thanks everyone for your help! NE IA

The NAPA Master Filter Catalog has a large cross
reference section in the back. Then, there is a
cross reference to all NAPA elements, Numerical,
that tells what they fit. (applications)
Atlas was the old Standard Oil Co. brand

Leland is right--Standard/Chevron"s house brand was Atlas. Lines included tires, batteries, filters, etc., but don"t know when (if?) they stopped using name.
Have some Atlas service station stuff here somewhere but don"t think it included any filter list; if I can find it, and if has any filter info, will email, but doubtful.

This may help, but Im pretty sure Atlas filters were mostly air compressor filters. I know every filter we buy for our air compressors are Atlas filters.

If you can't find an Atlas filter book, most brands have a "competitor's cross reference" section.

For example, I have a WIX filters MAster Catalog here by the 'puter, and it has about a full page showing Atlas to WIX crosses. From there, you could figure out what they fit.

If you can't get any place local to give you one, I'd mail you one for the cost of postage.

Also, you might check ebay for an Atlas catalog.
