Wow I have never seen an Avery so big, this steam engine machine is massive. There is a video of it at http://www.backroadmagazine.com/ along with a video of antique videos. I was really impressed. its the last two videos on the page. Check it out.

You may be confusing tha Avery Farm Machinery Co, later Avery Power Machinery Co, later The Avery Co of Peoria, IL, who built humungous steam and later gas stuff, and was sold to LeTourneau 1941 or so, with B F Avery & Sons, Louisville, KY, (plow and implement builder) who got into small conventional tractors 1939 or so and merged into MM in early 50"s. If so, you"re not alone by any means...
