That was really cool.I had to interupt my metalworking dvd but it was worth it.At one point I saw a long tail [light reflection] coming off the moon.I had to get my wife and ask if she saw it or if my eyes were blurry.I was wondering what people thought thousands of years ago.It probably scared the heck out of em.

Mid 40's and clear in western WA, good view of the event, great to watch. Remember several years ago, when we had a lunar eclipse and a comet (Hale-Bopp, I think) at the same time? And we had clear weather to boot.

I heard about it, but did not watch it. Me and my Dad were busy getting wood from a place about 4 miles from home with our International 200 truck today, no time for eclipses!

The family and I watched it from time to time. We've seen a few neat thing out here in the country. Seen the Space Shuttle go over at dusk, that thing is moving! Seen meteor showers too. I've yet to see the Northern Lights, one of these days I'll get up north to see them.

It was beautiful. I just love to watch an eclipse. This one was the prettiest I've ever seen. Just a few high thin clouds here, 20 degrees.

Hey GA. Dave, I'm only about 25 miles from you, in Bartow County. I thought I was the only one in this area who snooped around on here.

I've been wandering outside every half hour or so. Too cold to stand outside very long (no windows on that side of the house). Mike
