Got that steering wheel on today! Had to buy a 1" drill and go to Kliens Tractors and they drilled it out. Then had to remake the key slot in it. That was a bit of a job for I had only a 1/4 " file to work with and a ways up in that tube area. But afterwards I set real proud behing that wheel and just held it. lol Sounds silly but that was not as easy job as I thought it would be. lol
Still waiting on my dash to come in. Looking for the new dash anytime. :)

Your right.. in reply to old, 02-19-2008 18:38:20
That one inch bit cost me with tax. $36.00 and some pennys. Like to fell over when I got to the register. Just grab it and did not pay that much attention. Seen I guess the one next to it and it was like 18.00. Which I thought was a bit high but had to have it. Did not know you had one .. DANGIT! .. oh well it's on there and fixed. Looks real pretty to. The tractor place tried to sale me one with rubber on the outer edge only. Figured it would look cheap since old wheel had cover on it all over. *S

I am excited.. for I am trying to restore in reply to Larry59, 02-19-2008 17:07:20
I know I can't rebuild the motor. But don't feel it needs it. Runs really fine and starts right up with lots of power. Motor is not rusty but some faded paint. ''
Like now I am waiting for a rebuilt dash with new insturments in it. *S Little by little I will get most of it restored. Getting ready to sand on hood very soon. Weather is a kicker for me. For I don't have a nice barn are a dirty barn. Just 8 little metal poles and a canopy that covers the top and some of side. So air does get cold on either end. ...Still little bye little it comes. I even got me a rebuilt carburato on it and was done bye me. *S Yup I am happy. Have a nice say to all who read this.
