im looking for a Web Site that you looks up contruction equipment data, for example if you give the #seriel number it prints up everything about that old bulldozer or whatever etc. i will appreciate all replys, thanks.

Try the Construction Guide from Heartland. Open the link, click on Publications, from that menu do Publications again, then under Guides there's one for Construction Equipment. We get the Crane Guide from them every few years and it's reasonably priced for all the info in it, so I imagine their construction guide would be the same.

There is at least one such site--I don"t recall it"s name but I"m pretty sure I found it by Googling "serial numbers" or something similar. The problem is that it was a subscription site-I think a used eqpmt dealer-that accumulated it"s own database for internal use and then decided to sell the info (don"t recall how much it cost, but it was too much for idle curiousity). I haven"t found a free site, but there may be some out there. Good luck.
