The other day I noticed the steering did not seem normal. Ive had this tractor about six years a diesel engine and this is the first of any problems.
the problem is I can"t get the tractor to steer except but straight it has power steering or should I say had power steering. Does this series have a power steering pump of its own or does it run of the hydraulic fluid. if it has a power steering pump where will it be located. So what"s new always happens when it;s cold. Thank you (Ken from Elsberry, Mo

Yep the model would be helpful and also does it have hydraulic steering cyklinders under the front. Some models were equipped both waays and some have one hydraulic cyllinder and some have 2.

I suspect yours runs off the same pump as does the rear lift, does it work ?

"Does this series have a power steering pump of its own or does it run of the hydraulic fluid"

It would help some if you'd give us a hint as to WHAT IH tractor you are working with!

is a a 1967 706?? That steering issue is common on cold 1963 through early seventies tractors. Just let her run a bit longer when it is real cold. I have the same issue on my 544 when it is below zero. Also check to make sure your hydraulic fluid level is full.

What tractor is it? "700 series" sounds foreign?
