No real progress on it. The person at TSC sold us the wrong carb kit so we'll have to get back there to get another one. The carb is still soaking, and the engine is still stuck, so i put PB in there instead of the ATF that was there. Also spent some time removing grease/grime from the head. Im going to get the materials to make it a seat, going on Big Fread's advice. Thanks for the intrest, i'll post again tonight with the progress today.

Hey,Lanse we worry when we don't hear from you.Take the rodcaps off and protect the crank journals{newspaperand duct tape} Use a wooden block and lightly tap on the pistons from the top.May take a few days but a lot easier than trying to tap from the bottom. Less chance of knocking the sleeve loose.Any pics?

Lanse, dont let the smart negative somments bother you. Just do the best you can. since you have the head and pan off can you undo the rods, (Marking bearings and caps as to where they go and what direction) and put a piece of hardwood dowel up in there and tap upward with a 4 lb sledge That how I got my A unstuck. The piston and and sleeve came out and then i was able to separate them. Maybe someone else can tell you better. Henry

He's probably panicking because rust is coming through his new primer. :)

I'm curious too. Lanse, please let us know how you're progressing with your tractor. Dave
