There's a thread about 6 down from this one, entitled IH 414 or some such. Its a response to a 1999 post that isn't really a response at all- and it has an untitled link. Looks fishy- is the link some kind of scam? I've seen several of these- are they just trying to phish for email addresses? I didn't click on the link. Anybody know whats up with these?

Eric from Florida doesn't know how to do links anyway.

I surf with IE, with the Status bar turned on. I lay the mouse on a link (don't click) and in most cases it will show you what the actual link is. Oh there's some trickery that can hide it, but that's rare. Anyway, >Link
isn't gonna go anywhere. And indeed, I got the usual "Page cannot be displayed" error.

Probably 'cause someone finds them on the "New" YT boards, and responds, and that generates a post over here???

That is my understanding. The new forum moves a post to the top when it gets a response. Posts from this forum come up in Google searches for keywords (hence the furor over the OT board). People find them and post responses to them and they get pulled up. I think they look funny because they were archived??? This is what someone told me.
