I hope this guy has good life insurance. If not he needs to invest in some, and some suitcase weights.

that happens to me all the time. I plow with a case 970 and a Kieverland 5-16 semi-mount. no matter how much weight i put in the front, it still comes up. it's all about the center of gravity and being hitched to the 3pt arms instead of the drawbar. it's a highter hitch point and pulls the front end up easier. but jeez mine don't do it that much!

Funny...all this time, I thought plowing was about the quality of the job, not how fast you could finish...huh...

Back in the sixties, Dad had a Farmall 350 with a 3-16 fast hitch plow. He wouldn't put any weights on the front, and that tractor spent half its plowing time with the front in the air. One time I was plowing some sticky wet ground, and when I got to the end of the field the plow was up as high as it wuld go, and still 8 inches in the ground! I had to back up to get it out. You could take off on flat gound in 4th with the plow raised clear up and it would dig dirt.

He looks like hes pretty experienced at doing this.

Years ago as a teenager I used to lock the draft out plowing alfalfa sod with our 1968 G-900 MM.It was pulling 5x16's.When you hit the clay spots she would ride some good wheelies. The 3 pt quik coupler was riding against the plow.I had my foot on the clutch and my hand on the throttle just in case. When you got out of the clay spots she would slowly come back down.

I'm not advocating anyone try this but I was young and invincible back then.My little brother was plowing with the M-5 MM and took these pictures in May 1969.I'll bet the G-900 MM didnt have 100 hours on it.

Here's a link to a similar show-off, only with a Landini L55. They sound a little funny because they are single cylinder hot-bulb diesel engines.

Neat! Sounds like a distant helicopter, especially at idle. Also sounds like that engine is about to fly apart hehe. Thanks for the link!

Those tractors seem to have power. I'd be worried about getting proper lubrication with the front end that high for so long. Dave

I think he is racing! Watched one of his other video's where he is pulling what appears to be a chisel plow and there is a large MFWD Deere in the background and a red stake in the foreground. At the end he hops off and people start clapping. Sounds like his tractor is hopped up some too. Thats my guess anyways... still doesn't explain the front end not having any weights. Watch the other video and pay attention to how and how fast he makes the headland turns! This guy isn't an idiot, he is a pro!

As show insert occasionally when plowing. The tires have little profile however the 113PS John Deere create it nevertheless the plow to pull. More or less a Wheelie travel =)

I wonder what his clutch looks like after starting and stopping under a load like that. Can't be good.

he must not know about front end weights. i wonder how often he has to replace front axles , or spindles. i bet he has to change his shorts 2 or 3 times a day.
