Just posted on Craiglist:

HAY WANTED..... GOOD HAY....$2500
Must be 2nd cut... dust, weed and mold free... will take up to 1,000 bales if the product is right... max. per bale of $2.50.. CASH!!! delivered to barn loft.

Just when you think you seen it all! Suppose he also wants 100 lb bales? But he will pay CASH!
Wonder what he thinks we normally get?

Kinda like buying oats. Good oats cost good money, but oats that has been through the horse comes a little cheaper.

I would rather fill one of my ravines than sell to some like this. I wonder what my fertlizer supplier would say if I told him I would give him $200.00 per ton rather than 395.00. This person needs mental help.

I just couldn't leave this alone..... so I sent the following message:

Mister My grandpa has plendty of hay an he ask me to send you this message. He said he don't have much money but woold bring you 1000 bales if you send him at lest $50 for gas. He also wants to now if making several trips would be a probblem as his truck is sort of small. Jethro

Some folks have the brass, and then some folks get lucky, its not out of the relm of possibilities that he just might find a taker.
