I'm having problems with the clutch of my 7810. When the pedel is fully pressed the clutch is still not clear of the flywheel and it's difficult to put the tractor into gear. I have fully extended the little clevis on the clutch rod. Anyway i could not make it any longer as i will not have any pedal free play if i was to. Is there anything else i can adjust, that for a given length of travel for the pedal, will result in a longer travel distance for the clutch lever?? Many thanks
Cathal

I thought that the rod had to be shortened to bring free play back in line as the disk wears...
Assuming that free play is correct, split it and find the problem. It could be the pinch bolt in the clutch cross shaft, a bad pilot or release bearing, or mabey the clutch itself. Dig in and find out...

I was hoping not to have to split her, i don't have the time + its a costly job. If i do split her i'll put in a new clutch as i don't intend splitting her any time soon afterwards....
