I am wondering if there is a market for this kind of backrest. This one is a factory Oliver.I mocked it up on my Farmall H just to see how it looks on a different tractor. It felt very comfortable on the lower back.
Thanks for your comments

Does that adjust? Very nice job.

Vito

No adjustment... it goes where the 4 bolts that hold the seat pan on are. It would be easy to slot the holes for up and down adjustment... and it wouldn't be too tough to make the other part of the bracket so it would go fore and aft, too. I also have my SMV sign bolted onto it.

When are you going to buy my father's grain drill to hook up to that Oliver of yours? They'd be a perfect match :)

Not to rain on your parade or anything, but there are so many aftermarket seats available already that it would be tough to ever get noticed.

Yea you're correct on that one,but it gave me something to do today.Think I will have to rethink the whole backrest thing.

It could have been on a 77 because it mostly fits all tractors with the pan seat, but it was made for oliver 99,990

Think you got something there, its like a the deluxe seat for the number series. Is that bolted to the seat pan bolts ?
