Went to a Cummins tool sale today and spent $100 on a few tools. Got one of there die grinders 163 pieces, a 1 ton chain hoist and 2 sets of vise grip type clamp sets. Always wanted a die grinder but never wanted to spend the money on one so when I saw this one for $29.99 I got it. I hope it will help with some of that small stuff like broken off pipes etc.

Larry and old the one I used worked great after I figured out how to use it if it is like the one I used you had to set the bit correctly first or it would not sharpen.

Had a guy go through my truck and steal a 15 dollar HF angle grinder. He must have been unimpressed, cause when he got into my workshop he took not one tool. Must have tried to sell that HF and determined it was junk. Left all my good stuff alone. Best 15 bucks I ever spent. Know who he is and he knows that we are on to him now. Hasn't come around since.

I have had pretty ggod luck witht eir stuff. Its like anywhere else, just open both eyes before making a purchase. I got some large bolt cutters from them for $20 but due to the variance in quality from piece to piece, I had to pick through them to get a tool with good jaws, no gap, etc.
Its the new world order boys, and we all live in Chinatown.

I bought a 3/4-1" drive socket set, some large wrenches (1"+) and I have been very satisfied. Unless it was a motorized tool that I would only use rarely, I'd stay away from the off brand stuff. But you can probably get decent ones from time to time.

Boy Rich, hope you have better luck than I have had with "Cummins Junk". Every power tool I have have purchased from them last about long enough for them to leave town!!! And by the time they return, tool is out of warranty. I refuse to buy their junk now. I buy the in-expensive tools from HF, that way I can take it back if it fails or breaks.

Keep the sunny side up and muddy side down

I have purchased some of their large size tool sets and have been satisfied with the quality when compared to the price. Also purchased their cherry picker and it has worked perfectly.

Some times the "truckload tools are operational and even if not a SnapOn in quality, will do the task and return investment. Sometimes the opposite is true, and they just die and frustrate. I wish you luck. Diegrinders and dremels are cousins of handyness. JimN
