Is there a 12v conversion kit for a Farmall A?

Be sure to replace any 6 volt lights that you may have and not to crank on the starter too long for risk of burning it up. It doesn't happen often can.

Who needs a conversion kit? all you need is a V-belt, an alternator, and a ceramic resistor you can get at your local automotive store. The resistor goes inline with the coil if I remember right. Take the generator off, modify the mounts just enough to put the alternator on there, and you're done. Easy.

Or...you could just use a 12 volt generator and not have to modify anything.

Oh, a 12v battery would be good too. But that's stating the obvious. :)
