Value of JD suitcase weights?

We've got a pair of JD suitcase weights kicking around our farm since my dad worked at a dealer as a service guy back in the 70's. He used them for winter weight in his Camaro (before he had kids) but now they've just been getting moved around and in our way since we've never even owned a JD to put them on.

Any body have an idea to the value? I'd have to weigh one to see what they are, but it's been suggested that they're probably around 100# each.

I would consider trading them for some MF sutcase weights for our 285 or some starter/stack/slab weights for the Olivers.

The ones I see sell at auctions usually bring about 50 cents a pound.

I've been to auctions where the used suit case weights brought nearly as much as new price. I'd ask at least $65 each for them.
