What a day trying to move the wheels in on my oliver 77. The bolts were all rusty and seized into the hub. But when I removed the nuts they stripped. They are very corroded and I won't want to use them anyway. I have searched the net and can't find any to match my size. I probably have to have them custom made at a truck shop that bends u bolts. Have any other ideas??? The thread size is 3/4NF and the inside width is 2 1/2 wide and I can't remember how long.

I had the same kind of fun on my 1600 when I narrowed it up. I let them soak over night, then soaked them again and went back to them a while later. I used heat, air hammer, and a BFH to get them off. Only ended up wrecking one.

I got the new one right from the dealer. Wasn't cheap, but for one it wasn't worth finding a truck shop that makes them. I replaced all the nuts with new (Fastenal), slothered anti-seeze on everything and tightened them back down where I wanted the hubs. The other 5 u-bolts were just fine. A little rusty, but not bad.

To be honest I can't remember how much. I'm sure I could find it if I dug through all the papers I have from rebuilding the tractor, but it'd take a while. I do remember I was kinda surprised by the price, but for one I was willing to cough it up.

Aren't they fun to move BTDT and have since found ways to do it and not work my butt off. Any how have you tried Korves #618-939-6681. He has lots of Oliver parts and if he doesn't have them he may know where to find them
