Midliners were made by renault for mack. If it has full air brakes not a bad truck. All parts are available through mack dealers.

The MidLiner is a French built Renault truck.... as stated, a nightmare or major expense to get parts for. That's why they can be had so cheap. I'm not saying they're a bad truck; just an oddball. I looked into them too...

Mack midliner trucks were made in France by Renault.I have worked on a few of them and I guess they are a decent truck, but parts are hard to get and are very expensive.Mack and Renault were in partners at one time but now that Mack has been bought out by Volvo I don't really know the status of the Midliner.

To my knowledge Mack trucks are made in Allentown Pa. I've seen some Izusu looking Mack light duty cab forward types but never checked their origin. Good question. Imagine our surprise when our new Chev Impala had a made in Canada Plate on it. I never even thought to look at that when shopping for it. I was double surprised to find that of the 3 Brands Replica's on the Nascar Circuit only Toyota Replica is made in the USA. They are not by any stretch of the imagination real street cars. I have a question ,where are the big Toyota Trucks made? they had a One Ton Crew Cab Dually at the Sema show in Las vegas.I would like to know what it had for an engine.

I believe the Toyota 1 ton at SEMA had an 8 liter Hino Diesel engine

Toyota is a major share holder of Hino so that makes sense. Hino's are good engines but not the best starters in the cold. Some Hitachi excavators used a Hino engine. Dave
