3 am and I'm wide awake as usual, so I want to wish each and everyone on here a Merry Christmas. We went to a large Baptist Church in town last evening for Christmas Eve service, need to do that once a year to remind me why I like our small country church. They do non-traditional music( I guess that's what they call it ).A couple of times there, I was expecting Bob Dylan, Joe Cocker or Charlie Daniels to step out from behind a screen on stage. Wife liked it, but just didn't seem right to me, kind of like when someone tries to sing national anthem their own way instead of the way it should be. Then they had a modern skit about the birth of Jesus, not the kind of Christmas program that I was in as a kid! Guess I'm just a grouchy old fart. They are reaching out to younger people and there were a lot of young people there which is a good thing, just not my cup of tea. About 6:30 I called a guy that I work with, His 2 grandkids were at his house. I said that I was Santa calling to check up on Chase and Lauren, and the kids were excited, told Chase to be nicer to his sister and for them to go to bed as soon as they got home. Sounded like they enjoyed it. We are leaving about 7:30 to drive to youngest daughters house to have Christmas with our family, grandson is 2 so this year ought to be fun, got extra battery's charging for the camera. I am done rambling, Merry Christmas to all, and don't forget the reason for the season. Chris

Last night I was flipping through the channels and happened upon the Mormon choir's Christmas musical. Boy do they know how to make music! Jim

The "next phase" for us- first Christmas without at least some of the kids here on Christmas morning- They're each having Christmas morning with their own family. I know that's the goal when we're raising them, but still a little hard the first time. Went to #1 son's for dinner last night, going to #2 son's for dinner this afternoon. As for #3 daughter, she's just out of the loop this year- spending a couple months in Ecuador (go figure- to each his own, I guess).

MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone here at Yesterdays Tractors. As we remember the birth of our Savior, I like to remember some of the good things that life offers, and this website is one of them!!

Merry Christmas to you as well and to all the other fellow old iron lovers out there. Yes, let's remember the reason we celebrate the season.

Merry Christmas to everyone from us also. Lets just make sure we remember the reason there is a Christmas Day and to also remember that in every one of our town's all across the good ol USA, there are individuals and families that are out there alone, depressed, broke or just plain at the end of their ropes, on Christmas day. Lets remember them as we feast and open more gifts than any one really needs, or if you know someone like that, invite them over , or stop and wish them a merry Christmas, you may just end up being the sign they needed to know that someone does care.
