Anyone have theirs sitting idle?

The price of corn kinda put the kabosh on the stove sales around here.Heck,3 years ago, they couldn't make 'em fast enough. Now you see them selling used on ebay.

I'm on my 3rd year with mine.I love it.LP furnace as back up for cold/windy days.Only use 100 gal of LP per year.Alot of non-farmers still using corn stoves have also gone to wood pellets cuz they're cheaper here.

We raise corn on our farm,so it's cheap fuel for me.WHAT YOU GUYS DOIN' ~brad

I am paying $8/100 lbs. Last year corn was $7/100lbs. Pellets are almost the same cost as corn now.

Seems a lot are selling around here - MN - still. Corn is cheaper around here than most parts of the country, and LP, NG, & heating oil all have gone up faster than the price of corn has.

I am in central Va.and have had one for two years, and it is the best investment that I have made in a very long time,it is clean warm and easy to use,I know I am lucky I try to help out my farming neighbors so my corn is very very cheep.but I would have one if I had to pay big prices for the cord.
