I think I might have found the answer to what this county needs. All of a sudden the name Tisco came in to my mind. I remember seeing their catalog at most of the dealers that we used to have. I looked up their website. Unbelievable how many parts they have. Think I'm gonna try to contact them about getting some parts wholesale after the first of the year. Any of you guys Tisco dealers through your own shop? I'd kind of like to know how they are to deal with.

Used to sell Tisco, now sell A&I, like the quality of A&I, except for carb and ignition parts, not real impressed with these two, but A&I seems to carry a lot and they are buying out more companies to be a more complete supplier.

OK,I've been to A&I web site before after I saw an ad for them. I didn't know they would wholesale. Didn't spend that much time exploring their site. I'll check them out too. Thanks guys.

99.9% of the replacement parts for sale on ebay are from Tisco, as well as most of the parts that YT sells.

I think you can become a dealer with a sales tax number & $1500 order here in Illinois.

You might've read this way back, but it might help. Sorry if I'm being redundant.

Guess if I did see it I skipped right over it. Just went back and read it. Thanks. If you've read my post below, you know why I asked. Acording to their dealer locator, they have a few autoparts stores selling for them in surrounding counties, but none here in this county, the one where we don't even have an implement dealer anymore. I think I'll contact them and see what they have to say. Thanks again.

Anytime, friend. I bet you can really fill a niche market. Maybe even offer things that the implement dealer didn't. Such as free delivery to ANYONE, not just the big farmers, maybe an order by email and pick-up/deliver the next morning. I dunno. Good luck!
