Recently got a fairly nice Case tractor with loader to use on my horse farm. But I am having trouble identifying what model it is. I have searched for a Serial No. or any identification tag and have found none. I was told it was an 1960's model, 40-45hp tractor when I bought it. It is a 4 cylinder gas with triple range and is the body style of the 430-530 models. My father has a 530 diesel, but mine looks a bit smaller.

Can anyone help me identify my tractor so I get a few parts that are needed to get it back right? If need be I can provide pictures.

Thank!

This is a Case 711B that someone dropped a tree on. It has the hood and front end off a diesel.

It has the Eagle hitch. Needs claws...

It could also be a 570. They have a matching black stripe.

If it has a black stripe decal the length of the hood. then its a 30 series (430/530). If not it may be a 00 series (200/300/500).
If you have a 430 series, the tag should on the dash, (or two rivet holes where its supposed to be). The hood and side panels will be a one piece unit from the dash all the way up to the nose piece. Two pieces total from steering wheel to headlights.
If you have a 530 series, the tag should be on the right lower side panel (close to your knee), which it detachable, and if that little panel is gone, then your serial number tag is gone.
The 530 hood is in four sections from wheel to headlights. (dash, tank, hood and nose piece.
Its possible your fathers 530 is taller or bigger looking if its on tall tires and tall spindles if its an ag or general purpose tractor and yours could be a utility version of the same tractor and sit much lower to the ground.

Well from your description it is sounding like a 530/541...The sheetmetal consists of the nose cone with the 2 headlights, a small section where the exhaust comes through and then the gas tank and dash. It has the long black decal that runs from gas tank to nose cone, only thing ledgible is "CASE" and "TRIPLE RANGE."

Thanks for all your imput!!!

Case Lady.
The description sounds very much like a 430. If a gasoline tractor it will have a 148 CU. In. engine. Early series used Case Eagle Hitch and later went to a standard category 3 point hitch. Horsepower was about 33 HP. may have a hand clutch on the left side of the transmission to disengage wheel drive and allow the PTO to keep turning.
If it has adjustable rear wheels it will be speced as a 441. Standard is 440 and itility is 442.
Check the right side of the instrument housing and see if there is an aluminum tag there or if there are 2 holes where the tag should be... I have pisc of my 430's I can send. My e-mail is open... Gene

What should I specifically take a pic of? What would be the most identifying features?

Just an overall Picture from the side probably would be best.
