I bought a pair of very good rice tires today from some nice guys who advertised them here. I have several tractors that take that size, and need to decide which one to put them on. I will do a little antique pulling with two of them, and the other will see a few plow days each year. Other than that, they sit. I would think that the tread bars would roll over if used on a puller. I hope they will work ok on the plow tractor. What do you think? Thanks.

You need to put those tires on the tractor that is always in the wet mud. They do not work well on dry ground.

The 500 Case I used to have had a set of rice tires on it. That tractor would go through almost anything but, if you hooked it to a plow and tried to plow sod when it was real dry, the lugs rolled and you just sat there bouncing and hanging on to the seat trying to grab the clutch.

Thanks- That's kinda what I thought. The plowing we do around here is usually corn ground that has been disked to cut up the stalks, and the top is pretty soft. Hopefully the tires will work ok with that. They will go on a Gvi Minnie. I appreciate your help.
