Working on a "78 White 2-85 with the perkins straight 6 diesel. One of the sleeves corroded through and antifreeze got into the cylinder, so it was torn down, and its sat for like 3 years. Machinest says its a press in dry sleeve that usually is bored out because their so tight. I figured it had wet sleeves. What do you guys think?

They are dry sleeve. Most modern Perkins are dry sleeve. Now what you may need to do is have that cylinder bored and a repair sleeve installed and then cut to fit the Perkins sleeves. They are tight.

The instructions that come with those sleeves say to bore the block some miniscule amount, but I've frozen them and pressed them in.
