Does anyone know how many turns are on an International mag coil used on the McCormick 10-20?

Thank You,

Tyler

I would think that if you find the wire size and then get as much on as you can, in the package size available, you will not be far off, plus or minus a few hundred volts. The primary will be more important, I would have thought. (For the boys who are thinking' how fast is the engine turning?' this might be a revelation).
Alternatively get a mag-winder to do it for you; they will know what works and likely won't be giving the information away. You might be able to find the turns ratio from voltage step-up working from the primary turn count and magneto output at a reasonable rotational speed (to ensure a good starting spark potential).
