I looked up the site that allows you to access your computer from any other computer which should allow you to use the remote computer just like your own and check your email as usual (well sorta since it isn't really your computer). Go to bobandtom.com and scroll all the way to the bottom to the advertisers index part and click on their link then look for the Gotomypc.com site link. I beleive they allow you to test drive for a month for free by typing in bobandtom as a promo code.

Thanks gang, read all the great info n kinda started to finger out just how my POP3 n ISP worked and called my ISP Tech Support n it looks like there never was a problem, I can ALREADY do what I need n even tried it wooooo hooooo

Since my incoming e mail server is MSN (jmn50@msn.com),,,,, ,,,,, and since MSN owns Hotmail (that dont really matter tho) ,,,,, ,,,,, I log to MSN website n sign in as me n I can get my e mail there plus I can respond and it gets sent cuz Im (say in Texas) on a web based e mail website already, so theyyyyy y are the outgoing mail server. Here at home my incoming mail server is still MSN but my outgoing POP3 is my local Bluemarble ISP. He also said if I get it at MSN and delete certain mail, it WILL NOT be back on my POP3 when I get home

Modern technology

Oh I see, you are using your MSN email address all the time. But at home are using outlook express to retrieve it, and using bluemarble to connect, and their outgoing mail server to send? I was thinking you had two email addresses a bluemarble one AND msn.

I think you're talking about gotomypc.com. Cost $ though it's only $19.95 a month.

The only reason for that is if you needed files on your home computer from a remote location. If JohnT just concerned about email then I think the webmail is the best option.

Not the best I've used and it's been slow lately but you can get your other email forwarded to a web email like Google Gmail just set up free account and try it. Less ads and BS of other webmail. google.com
