You may not have all the air bled from the system. Hal

You should place this request on the MH & MF forum. They have probably had this problem before. You probably need to keep working the hydraulic control levers. Keep a close watch on the fluid level too. Hal

The first slow / bumpiness may have bene it bleeding.

The leak off can be relief valve, or bad cyl. I know you repalce dthe piston and rings.. but if the cyl bore is worn wide.. you will leak there..

I Think They Sent Junk rings Didn't Fit Right.Do Ya Know If 1952 Ferg. Will Take Same oil As 9n Same Year? That Is What I Put In. Sounds Like It Will Bleed Out By Useing It. Thanks For Taking Time To Answer

9n stopped production in 1941.. however 8n went till 52.

The hyd system between a 9n and 8n is very similar.. and the hyd system betweent he 9n/2n and the fergy belly pumps are similar.. at least ont he t* 20 series.

If your pump is the belly pump and it takes a heavy mineral oil.. then yes.. the 90wt oil at tractor supply marked for use with ford from 1939-1952 should work.

if the rings were not right and the cyl was not repalced.. you very well could ahve a significant hyd leak at the mouth of the cyl.
