On my 1066 I have a problem where under a load randomly I will pull the toque handle back and the tractor will stop, if I don't push in the clutch fast enough it will slam in and go. When it happens and if I push in the clutch and release it will pull fine. I only use this tractor spring and fall under load. It seems as if it related to when the trans oil is cold, usually happens when I start working. After a few times do not have a problem the rest of the day except for a random event. I plan on testing pressures at the MCV. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

The low side of the TA has two problems.
First, for either hydraulic or mechanical reasons, the low side clutch pack is not locking up. Secondly, the sprag on the low side is not engaging smoothly and quickly. The bottom line is, the TA needs to be replaced if the TA does not drive in low. The MCV circuit should be thoroughly checked as well to ensure your new TA is not damaged by faulty hydraulics.

Go thru the adjustments on the TA linkage, but I have to tell ya it sounds like the classic symptoms of the one way clutch in the TA assembally going bad. Most likally time to budget for a TA overhaul.

You may need to do some adjustments with the selector spool too. Check all your pressures and adjustments first.
