6am, I figure it best to get going in the dark now and get the bales sooner than later, radar shows that storm is knocking on my back door and now they are saying my area is gonna get hit with the heaviest and slowest moving part of the storm. Yikes. I sure hope people have the sense to slow down when they see me heading towards them with 11 round bales on the trailer. Should I bring a chain for the idiot that will for sure try and pass me and end up hitting the ditch?? 1st snow fall in minnesota is comparable to blind folded bumper cars.

We are getting ICE.... But they drive the same...kind of like if I go really FAST , I can get there quicker... not thinking if they have to brake or slow down and steer... 1/4 to 1/2 inch ICE on everthing .. still coming down.. This is in Central Iowa.... Mark

You have no obligation to pull an idiot driver out of the ditch. If you do, and cause damage to the idiots car in the process, it could come back to haunt you. The most you should do is make sure the passengers are not injured, and then offer to call a tow truck.

First snow in MI isn't a whole lot different. The closer you get to a city the more you notice it.
