I know this is not a tractor, but is a family antique. Mom has her aunt's wind up phonograph (record player). Is there someone around that repairs or restores them? I'm in NC

Thanks!
T.R.K.

I have an Edison Sheraton Diamond disk player from 1918. I thought the needle was shot and couldn"t get it out of the holder so dummy me used a pair of pliers to grab it. The "needle " shattered! I was screwed I though until I found a guy who has TONS of parts. He told me I had shattered a diamond and acually had new ones! He even had a steel needle adapter for my player. His name is Tim Fabrisio number 716-244-5546. Old number but I hope it is still good. The email I have is Phonophan@aol.com

I have a wind up table model Victrola that I have had for 50+ years. It wouldn't play when I got it out last year to start the restoration. I had to take the motor out and with the spring relaxed in it's holder, I flushed out all the dirt and dust from between the spring coils with kerosene. Then after it drained for a day or so, I lightly sprayed it with WD-40 oil and reinstalled it after letting it drain for a day also. It worked fine after that.

Do a Google search for what ever brand it is. RCA, Victrolia, etc, I did and found some restorers. Don't have the names anymore or I would pass them along.

I don't have the answer to your ? but I have a bunch of the old 78 records that I found when I was running a garbage route. Are they worth any thing to you or are they availible at any antique store or flee market? Probably cost more to ship them then they are worth. I'm in Mn.
