My 93 F-350 7.3D isgiving me fits this month too! Glow plugs,,,, I can hear it clickin, the plugs feel warm o the touch, but its the hardest starting engine Ive ever seen. New controller for mine is 195 dollars thru NAPA, already has 8 new glow plugs,,, just one day, it did not wanna start,, and been doing it ever since. New filter, rebuilt the pump, turned it up just a tad,,, runs great when it gets started, but each time I shut it off, even when its warmed up,, its still hard to get fired up. I giveit the occasional helping shot of starting fluid, once the heaters cool off,,,

Yeah,

Few years since I was at Ford, but that was a very common problem. The Ford shop is gonna have that gizmo layin' on the shelf and I really don't think it is gonna break the bank.

Little gizmo lives in the bottom of the fuel filter casiter and has the plug at the rear or passenger side of the can.

Trouble is, that circuit also powers up the processor as I remember it.
