Well believe it or not, we had snow here in central Texas on thanksgiving evening. Didn't stick at all, but we had big ol' fluffy wet flakes falling for quite a while.

Over 6" this afternoon here in west Texas (just north of Abilene). Stopped now but the WeatherGuesser says probably more this weekend. We can use the moisture but will be pretty messy for a while. 83 degrees Tuesday and 29 now.

It's now t-day night and the snow is gone from the roads and driveways but we still have it on the grass. I always want the ground to freeze fairly solid then it can show all it wants. I really don't like driving in mud to go cut wood.

Hope everyone had a great T-day!

It was 74 today in MD, but that changed in the afternoon when a cold front came through with high winds. Lots of leaves are down. Hal

None here in Northern Virginia yet but our daughter and son in law up in northern New Jersey woke up to 6" of the wet stuff on the ground a few days ago. The "Weather Guess" was for a few flurries. I wish I could get a job like being a weather forcaster where you still get paid even if you are wrong 30 or 40 or 50% of the time!

We had an official .40 of snow yesterday-snowed most of the day. It always surprises me how people have no idea how to drive in it-like it never has snowed here before. Most of the morning, the police said if no one was hurt, just exchange insurance info and move on. Grass is still covered this morning! Greg

Every year people drive likes its there first time with snow on the ground, and it becomes the auto bodyshops windfall. And now with more and more 4wd suvs it gets worst, they all have better traction starting off, so they go like hell, and tailgate, but when it becomes time to stop or steer we all have the same, most of the cars around here in the ditches are newer suvs,( sorry ladies) and there women. Some people will never learn, but then again I still get a sun burn at least once at the start of each summer, maybe theres no hope for me learning year to year either. Happy Holiday Sean
