Just curious to see how many NRA members are on this site. At the beginning of next year I will be renewing my membership (along with my son's) he is 6 years old. That way I get both magazines, the 1st. Freedom and American Rifleman. I always renew on a presidential election year. (The thought of Billary being prez makes me puke)

Life, and GOA and NYSRPA and I moderate www.castboolits.gunloads.com and www.stopguncontrol.com The 2nd Ammend. is coming up for very important decisions by the SCOTUS. Whether you're in favor of firearms or not, your rights should be important to you. Better pay attn folks.

NRA Life Member since I don't know when.

I'm not in agreement with many of the things the NRA does, but it is the only credible organization that is fighting against outright confiscation of firearms.

Member since sometime in the early 70's.

Did you see on the news about the highschool senior who got suspended for 4 days for having shotgun shells in her vehicle? She is one of the top olympic hopefuls in skeet shooting. Forgot and left some shells in the car after practicing. She is now labeled as having "destructive devices" on school property. At least that is what the idiot school administration calls it.

We are just about one election away from being communist.

I have been a member since early teens. I pay my dues, and support the cause as I deeply believe in my right to own and use firearms. I no longer give extra donations, EVER, and will not ever again unless the NRA starts to promote what they preach in small and big newspapers, public television and make the rounds like the anti's do. I never see them on any channels other than hunting and gun channels, but then I may miss it also. I dont see the sense in running a campaign to save out right, on channels that only people that already believe are watching. I know most of the money goes to lobbying, but I also do not beleive that NBC< ABC< FOX< CBS, and all the other cable channels wont give the NRA a slot.Constantly sending me letters for more money is not what I want my orginization to do, I want them to send letters to those that dont know the issues, put more money and effort into take a kid hunting programs and such to get those not exposed to proper gun use and hunting, exposed to it the right way, rather than from some thug, or an anti gun nutt. Yes I said NUTT! If I seen informational NRA on the channels everyone watches and in the papers everyone reads. I would donate as much as we give to our church. Now I will finish with I am glad the NRA is there to fight for us at the capitol, but not all is being done that can be, to gain members and increase the knowledge of our right to bear arms.

I agree with you on the mailings for more money. I dont like getting the letters of "give us $50 or $24 or $100" I also agree that the NRA needs to get more people to being members on other TV channels like Discovery or a non-network channel. I will also say that the NRA leadership will always like to have enemys of the 2nd amendment so that they can have an excuse for asking for money.

You better "get on the 'stick'" while you still can. The NRA is the worst powerful enemy the COMLIBFAGS have, so what better way to hurt an enemy(COMLIBFAGS) than to support their strongest enemy.
