I am replacing all of my cassettes, records, 8-tracks and want to get the exact ones on CD. I have been trying local mall record stored and had good luck but can't find them all. My question, is there a web site that I can try? Thanks!!

Amazon.com and a little place called CDbaby.com. I also like the more obscure stuff that you just can't find at Wal-Mart.

E-bay only if out of production and then watch the price...shop it a while. Amazon is my preferred place. Used to be CDNow but they are somehow combined with Amazon now.

If you have a lot of cassettes and vinyl records that you want on CDs, you might want to think about buying one of those units that are now on the market that will not only record them onto CDs but will electronically clean them up and eliminate static, hiss and noise of scratches (in the case of vinyl). I bought one of these units that does cassettes and vinly for under $200.00. It may be cheaper in the long run.

Depending on the rarity of the albums a good place to start is amazon.

If that doesn't work try googling the album.

Ebay would be a good place to look too.

Some old albums many have not been updated to CD but the songs may be on different compilation sets.
