I bought a woodmaster and later found out it was a copy of the shopsmith I need some parts for mine.Parts are no longer available so if someone has one they would like to sell the speed adjustment gears I would be interested. I posted this in the tool forum but no one replied hope someone here will

I am glad to hear that I have been looking at them as I was thinking of getting a planer, molder unit. If they don't have parts I better look else where. How old is your unit? Thanks Richard

Richard if the planer is in good working condition and you can get it reasonable I see no reason not to there may be a company that makes replacement parts as the multi tool was a copy rite infringement and no one will touch making parts some of the parts will fit from the shopsmith but need to be made to fit.The planer should be easy to find parts for or have repaired good luck.

Better check your info. There was a copy of the shopsmith made for a while but I dont think the co that makes planers had any part in this.

from memory it's been a few years but woodmaster did copy the shopsmith and when they were sewed it caused them to completely close so all their lines of tools were affected.
