I saw this on ebay, I was interested but it just doesnt seem right to me...He didnt list a location. I asked him a question through the ebay system and got a message back directly through my email. The message he sent had a few grammer errors. What do you guys say?

EBAY Killed this auction so maybe it was a SCAM and a previous poster may be right the account could have been taken over by an unscrupulous character.

Also in doing a advanced search on ebay this is what it returns for the user name dlight8.

Wow, that one looks fishy. Has not sold anything since 2003, and lately has only been buying MP3 players and odd music cd's. Did not list where the item was located or specify shipping terms. Also requests money order or cashiers check. No money down or time limit on payment. I would say that thier ebay account has been phished. I vote SCAM.

Just my $0.02

Aaron

i get all kinds of results on the feed back the person seems to a woman who sells videos and stuff not farm or tractor related stuff.
I think I would steer clear of this one. looks like someone might have stolen another persons identity.

I almost never answer a question through ebay's system. Does that make me a bad guy?

No, no it doesnt. I thought though that when you send a question through ebay it hids your email address. So when he responed outside of ebay I thought maybe he had hacked something. Maybe I am wrong.

When you ask a question, it has a box you need to check or uncheck to hide your email from the seller when filling out the form.

If I'm fairly certain the question and the potential buyer are legitimate, I just hit reply and by-pass ebays system. If there seems to be some degree of risk involved, I reply through the system.

According to what the seller has told E-Bay the unit is in California.

Another way to find the location is to have your search results sorted by distance. See the link.

Seems cheap but it hasn't sold yet either.
