I'd sure buy it if I was closer! New rear tires are probably worth that price!

There was a nice Farmall for sale, about a month ago, on Rt. 19, about half way between Zelienople and Portersville, Pa. Looked in nice condition. Don't know the price. Don't know if still there. Was near Charlie Burg's place, but not his.

Hopefully all it needs for engine work is a carb rebuild or something very simple, that would be pretty sweet, but if it needs more than that he can factor in about $500 for pistons, rings and sleeves, gaskets, then its additional money for bearings and a head rebuild if it needs it. That fellow has got $600 in the rear tires, not $1,200 unless the rims are brand new too. So it is a bargain if you consider what you are getting, but also be prepaired to throw a bunch more money at it before its all fixed up.

You don't want to drive it home. Even you paid the guy a couple hundred bucks or so to deliver it would be reasonable. If its got some engine issues, check them out before you run it too much. The last thing you need is a stuck engine or something. Dave

Check the photo ads. Doesn't seem like to bad an old tractor to me for that price. Sounds like he may even help with delivery!
